We’ve developed a sensor-driven solution to remote and constant pavement monitoring — particularly during construction when most issues arise.
This technology provides maintenance technicians with real-time data on factors such saturation, water content, movement, temperature, and load pressure.
BELLUM SMART SENSORS are embedded within the pavement at various locations and depths. They can also be installed on the surface of existing pavements.
Technologies including Fiber Optic Sensors (FOS), Micro-electro-mechanical Sensors (MEMS), and Nano-electro-mechanical Sensors (NEMS), which combine with wireless transmitters to detect and transmit data points for the metrics being monitored.
By using AI and machine learning, Bellum’s patented system analyzes these data points to generate comprehensive reports about the current and future health of the pavement.
These reports include predictions regarding if, when and how failures in the runway will occur. These metrics can also be analyzed based on changes in weather, landing and take-off loads, and other dynamic factors.
All data and findings are transmitted in real-time to a remote dashboard application, accessible to all approved airport officials.
